APISOD a poem-inspiration-story of the day 01/25/21

Freedom is the way Mother Nature chose to color our world from the dimmest dim of grays. She dips her brush with yellows and reds of daffodils, her canvas progresses throughout the day. With browns and greens of growing things as bright blues fill out our skies. She sang her songs of colors so bright to take root and blossom amongst our minds. Forgotten now these colors and songs that greed and money betrayed. These songs she sang still fill the air shielding us our fear of night, hoping to light our way. Few can hear her fading calls of love and trust, fewer still seek her loving warmth. The colors have all but washed away, with sorrowful tears she cries for us, as they replace her world with cement and rust.
